The Ohio Theta alumni leadership and undergraduates at the University of Cincinnati have conducted a capital campaign to provide for the long-term viability of the Sigma Phi Epsilon experience on campus. Through careful study, assessment, and planning, it has been determined that updates and maintenance are necessary, and the fraternity must invest in the facility to meet the needs of today’s students.

Replace the heating and air-conditioning system for greater efficiency and temperature regulation

Address mandatory life-safety issues with sprinklers, fire-rated doors, and full compliance with code specifications

Provide ample study space, including areas for individual and group study, and wireless Internet access throughout the facility

Replace plumbing and electrical systems to accommodate the volume/size of the house and address safety issues

Increase occupancy from 34 to 48

Enhance the residential learning center with a 145-person classroom/Chapter room where a university-accredited class can be taught
