After 80 years of hard use, the California Epsilon Chapter House of Phi Kappa Psi at UCLA is in dire need of improvements. After battling exposed wires, leaking pipes, mold, and other serious issues, a capital fundraising campaign commenced to construct a new chapter house. A new facility will be instrumental in addressing these challenges and will help achieve the goal of providing a chapter house that serves as a proud symbol of their vision of excellence. The goal is a high-quality, durable facility that will provide a safe living and learning environment for decades to come, while maintaining the storied history of Phi Kappa Psi. In all areas, the architect has been instructed to address mandatory building and fire code requirements. In addition, a special emphasis has been placed on the use of practical and durable building materials,finishes, and fixtures.
