The Alpha Chapter of Phi Delta Theta at the University of Nebraska updated the electrical and mechanical systems as well as renovated and updated many of the rooms in the chapter house for a more competitive physical structure while attracting quality young men. This includes the mandatory sprinkler system requirements as well as updating some of the living quarters and common areas. Part of their capital fundraising campaign included the following improvements:

Created a safe living environment with the installation of sprinklers and repairing fire-rated, self-closing doors as needed

Installation of HVAC system while replacing the plumbing and electrical systems

Reconfiguration of internal walls to create a better flow throughout the house

Renovate housemother’s suite, while expanding restrooms

Enclose current trophy room and convert into a modern computer room

Conversion of the communications room into an alumni gathering room

Reconfigure existing sauna, mechanical, and laundry room to expand laundry room space

Expand chapter room and include permanent seating
