Alpha Chi Omega at the University of Nebraska has implemented the first renovation and expansion in 15 years to their venerable chapter house following a sorority capital campaign that raised $1.1 million to address immediate undergraduate needs. Their sorority fundraising-enabled improvements restored the house, constructed over 75 years ago, to top condition for its future members. These improvements included:

A new computer room with ports to plug in personal laptops, high-speed Internet and network access to the University of Nebraska’s system, copy and fax machines, and printer

Enlarged and upgraded academic, programming, and group project spaces

Additional access to computers and email throughout the chapter house

Four additional four-person bedrooms, and two additional bathrooms

An new elevator for enhanced accessibility

Provision of additional square footage per person in each bedroom
